BB Lights was not born from a product gap or a market trend. It began with curiosity. Our founder, Ian Bibby, started his career as an artist and educator, exploring light as a medium rather than an accessory.
Early experiments with ‘drawings made of light’ revealed a lifelong truth: natural, balanced light has an emotional and physical impact that cannot be faked.
That curiosity led to decades of hands-on engineering, manufacturing, and real-world problem-solving, always focused on one thing: how can we create artificial light that feels honest, comfortable, and true?
